Kent Fire and Rescue Services were called to a fire in Marden last night.
The 999 call was received by KFRS's Control Room at 11:53pm on Sunday, May 22, and the first crew arrived at the three-storey property within five minutes to find a fire in the ground floor bin store.
A breathing apparatus team were immediately sent into the building to find that all the common areas (stairs, corridors, etc) were smoke-logged as were several of the flats.
