History comes alive at a substantial country house in Wadhurst, once the love nest of Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson.
Wenbans is in a tucked away, semi-rural setting bordering Wadhurst Park. Listed as grade II*, the original building on the site is said to have been a hunting lodge, possibly for King John.
