AN ELDERLY motorist who ran over a 77-year-old grandmother in an East Grinstead car park has admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving.Anne Crawford was charged with the offence after the victim became trapped beneath her 4x4 in a parking bay at Waitrose, in West Street, on January 15.She pleaded guilty when she appeared in the dock at Hove Crown Court last Wednesday.The defendant now faces sentencing.The 83-year-old, of Brambletye Lane in Forest Row, has no previous convictions but...
