East Sussex Fire and Rescue services were called to a kitchen fire in Hurst Green this afternoon, Tuesday September 15.The accidental fire broke out on the top of the oven hob.Crews were initially called 11.55 am and the incident was escalated from two to four crews from Battle, Heathfield, two from Hastings, as well as Bexhill's Incident Command Unit.Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using one hose reel jet and a Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan was used to clear smoke...
