The biggest gathering of Spitfires,Hurricanes and Blenheim light bombers since World War Two flew over Kent and Sussex skies this afternoon, Tuesday September 15.The event is the highlight in a summer of celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
The fighter planes were visible above Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Crowborough and Sevenoaks from 2.30pm with the distinctive sound of Rolls Royce's Merlin engines heard across the Weald.
