A suspected shoplifter in Tunbridge Wells has been charged.Stephen Barnes, 33, of Cranleigh Drive, Swanley has been charged with theft.Police were called to Calverley Road at 3.30pm Thursday (September 10) after reports of a man stealing from Boots.When police arrived the suspect had been apprehended by security staff that followed the individual onto Calverley Road.Police then arrested the suspect.He is currently on bail and will appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates court on October 2.
