A rare animal thought to be extinct in England has been spotted in woodlands.Pine Martens have not been seen in England for more than 100 years, until amateur wildlife recorder Dave Pearce spied one in Shropshire.The sightings has now been confirmed after the discovery was verified by Shropshire Wildlife Trust.The weasel-like animals were thought to be extinct in this country after they were fiercely hunted for fur.
