Specialist divers are today scouring Leybourne Lakes in Larkfield after a 34-year-old man went missing in the swimming phase of a triathlon yesterday.
The man, named locally as Paul Gallihawk, 34, was taking part in his first triathlon at the watersports centre off Lunsford Lane.
Race officials sounded the alarm after a bicycle was left behind following the 750m swimming stage of the race.
