A man has been jailed for stealing an iPhone from a shop in Tonbridge.David King, aged 37, of Cumberland Avenue, Canterbury, stole the phone worth £350 from a shop in High Street, Tonbridge on August 4 2015. He pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was sentenced on August 13 2015 at Mid Kent Magistrates' Court.Magistrates sentenced King to 90 days in prison, suspended for 12 months. He must also pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
