A government inspector has ordered a hike in the number of new homes to be built in Sheppey and Sittingbourne over the next 15 years.The town may now have to have hundreds of extra homes as Swale Borough Council faces pressure to increase its housing target.Thirteen new sites have been earmarked for development ranging in size from 10 to 600 dwellings. Some of the new sites identified are at South West Sittingbourne; Bell Centre; Iwade and land north of the High Street in Newington.Scroll down...
