311 members of staff have been made redundant at Turners Fine Foods in Goudhurst, with an additional 51 jobs lost in Tonbridge and ten in Tunbridge Wells.
Bosses from restructuring firm KPMG were appointed yesterday as administrators of Silverstar Foods ltd, the parent company of Turners, less than a week after news emerged that the business faced liquidation if it could find no buyer.
