A drunk motorist who collided with safety barriers in Tram Road has disqualified from the roads.
John Smith, of Walton Manor Close, was involved in a single-vehicle collision near Tontine Street at 7.15am on June 28 when his Renault Clio smashed into the fences.
The 34-year-old was breathalysed by Kent Police and gave a breath test of 84 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milllitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
