Drivers abandoned their vehicles in panic after a car caught fire in the Dartford Tunnel this afternoon.
Kent Police was called to reports of the fire at 12.53pm this afternoon as drivers and passengers scrambled from their vehicles.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service and Essex County Fire and Rescue Service are in the tunnel river crossing dealing with the incident.
