CHARITY bosses have abandoned plans to open a new air ambulance base in Paddock Wood.The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSAAT) was looking to relocate from itscurrent base of operations in Marden to Old Hay Airfield in Paddock Wood.The Courier understands the popular charity is withdrawing its planning application with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council today (Friday) and will retain its sites at Marden and Redhill.Alternatively, KSSAAT has been offered a new larger hangar at...
