Sodden sandwiches and dark skies did little to dampen spirits on Sunday when the people of Sevenoaks turned out in force to celebrate the Queen's birthday in majestic Knole Park.
Despite the wet conditions picnickers brought food and drink to toast the Queen's 90 years - as Lord Sackville declared the occasion officially up and running.
