Firefighters were called to a blaze at an industrial unit in Maidstone in the early hours of this morning which was still alight at 6am.Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews were called at 3.18am to a fire in an industrial unit in Bircholt Road.Eight fire engines attended, and used a main jet, hose reel jet, breathing apparatus, fog spike and coldcut firefighting system as well as a height system.Firefighters are using breathing apparatus, and jets to tackle the fire.
