An iconic Tunbridge Wells building has gone under the hammer and been sold for £900,000 at auction.The large building sits beside the busy intersection of Vale Road and London Road and went for £300,000 more than the suggested asking price.It was auctioned earlier today by Clive Emson in Maidstone, with the suggested listing between £500,000 and £600,000.The congregation moved up to join the United Reformed Church (URC) on Mount Ephraim in time for Easter last year.Church...
