Tonbridge Flood Wardens and the owner of a river trip company assembled last night by the river to rescue a narrowboat which was partly adrift.Reports came in at around 6pm yesterday (Sunday) afternoon that a riverboat had broken loose and had partly drifted across the river near Medway Wharf Road.Pictures of the incident were posted to Tonbridge Daily, and lead flood warden Carl Lewis was quickly on the scene to assess the situation.He was assisted in returning the boat to its mooring point on...
