Eight fire engines attended the scene of a huge fire in Paddock Wood yesterday.Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire on Queen Street, Paddock Wood, at 5.54pm but stayed until midnight. The fire, which was in a building used as an industrial unit, has produced a large smoke plume, and residents were told to stay inside keeping their doors and windows closed and to avoid going into the smoke plume wherever possible.
