Contracts were finally exchanged on the former Pine Grove offices on Wednesday morning.Wealden District Council (WDC), which had its offices in the long-empty building, and Crowborough Town Council, which plans to turn it into a community enterprise hub, cemented the agreement formally.The large building will change hands on June 1.Mayor Ron Reed, who was re-elected by Crowborough Town Council the previous day, said: "We have got a lot of work to do - the building has been empty for years....
