A man is in custody after dramatic scenes in Maidstone this morning which forced police to close a road.Officers from Kent Police attended a property in Upper Stone Street, Maidstone at 1.53am on Tuesday 17 May to arrest a man for a reported assault, but it was closed to drivers at 6am due to what police described as an "incident".It was closed at the junction of Mote Road and Knightrider Street and at least three police cars and a van were at the scene.Delays are still being expected...
