An author from Withyham is delighted to have been awarded an international writing prize.The winner of the Canada and Europe regional Commonwealth Short Story Prize was Stefanie Seddon, who won for her story Eel, and grew up in New Zealand before moving to East Sussex.A farmer's daughter, Ms Seddon completed a degree in English Literature at the University of Otago and is now studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck, at the University of London.She said: "Eel is a very personal...
