Penshurst Place is set to play a starring role on television once again, with a new BBC historical drama featuring Benedict Cumberbatch airing next month.
The Sherlock star filmed The Hollow Crown: The Wars Of The Roses at the historic Penshurst Place and gardens over three days in December 2014 and January 2015, with the first episode due to be shown on Saturday, May 7 on BBC Two.
