Police are investigating a crash between a car and a tree in Leigh which left a man with serious injuries.Police said the crash happened at around 11.05pm yesterday (Thursday) on the B2027 High Street, with the car left in flames. A man was taken to Kings College Hospital in London with serious injuries.Villagers who heard the smash dashed outside to help then man and dragged him to safety from the burning wreckage.
