Plans for a cultural hub for Tunbridge Wells have received a body blow after the Lottery rejected a bid for funding. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Council applied for money to develop detailed plans for a heritage, cultural and learning hub in the library and AEC buildings in the town centre.
