A train derailment caused by eight cows on the railway line could have been prevented, according to a new report.
The Rail Accident Investigation Branch has announced safety recommendations after the Southeastern passenger train was derailed by cows in Kent last year.
The Southeastern service was travelling to Ramsgate from Charing Cross on Sunday, July 26, when it derailed as Godmersham at around 9:40pm while travelling at nearly 70mph.
