The gun fired at 9.30am on the dot for the start of the 27th Paddock Wood Half Marathon.
Nearly 2,750 runners took part in the 13 mile route, with the streets of the town lined with cheering spectators.

The runners faced a mainly flat route, but with a few small hills and other obstacles such as rail bridges.
