The team working to clear one of the main routes in to town which has been blocked by a huge fallen tree said the road will re-open shortly. The tree on Pembury Road was toppled during last night's Storm Katie.Staff from Kent County Council's Highways Department are currently chopping up the tree which fell near a bus stop and are clearing all the debris from the carriageway and pavement.
