Five cows were killed during last night's train derailment, Southeastern has confirmed.

The livestock caused a train to derail shortly near Chilham station before 9:30pm last night, July 26.
The service was travelling between Ashford and Canterbury West.
The train firm confirmed no passengers or crew have been hurt.
