A man is set to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court in February charged with assaulting a police officer in Hailsham.Nathan Walter, 20, unemployed, of London Road, Hailsham is also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The charges relate to an incident outside the George Hotel in Hailsham on January 9.Two police officers required hospital treatment following the incident.Walter will appear before magistrates on February 10.
