Fire crews are warning residents with open fires and wood-burning stoves to check their chimneys and flues are clean after an incident in Tudeley.A crew was called to Half Moon Lane yesterday afternoon to reports of a chimney fire.One fire engine attended the scene just after 4.50pm and a fog spike was used to tackle the blaze.There were no reported injuries.But Kent Fire and Rescue Service is encouraging people to sign up to their Clean Sweep Alert which will send a timely reminder to all...
