Firecrews were called to a car ablaze in Paddock Wood last night. The firefighters from Paddock Wood were alerted at 7.43pm to the red Fiat Punto on fire in a layby in Badsell Road.They finished at the scene at 8.09pm. A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said it was a "suspicious ignition". Police were in attendance. The car was reported from the Sussex area.
