EMERGENCY services raced to a Tonbridge primary school yesterday, after a young girl was hit by a car.Kent Police said they were called to Long Mead Primary School just after 3.30pm yesterday, following a 10-year-old girl being hit by a car as she tried to cross the road.South East Coast Ambulance service also rushed to the crash and took the young pupil to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.A police spokesman said charges were not being laid and the girl only suffered minor injuries.For more on this...
