The RSPCA has issued a warning over the threat Chinese lanterns pose to animals and wildlife ahead of bonfire night celebrations this week.Chinese lanterns are made from paper-covered wire or bamboo frame and an open flame heat source which lifts the lantern into the air and floats for miles.Once extinguished the lantern falls to earth and can pose a serious threat to animals through ingestion, entrapment and entanglement.This can cause serious injury, suffering and even death.The RSPCA has...
