Tonbridge's Weald of Kent Grammar School has been granted permission to expand to Sevenoaks, it was announced today.Education Secretary Nicky Morgan gave proposals for a 450 pupil satellite school the green light after a four-year campaign from parents for grammar school provision in the neighbouring town.She said she was satisfied the scheme was "genuine expansion" of the existing school, and therefore did not break laws which ban the creation of new selective schools."I welcome...
