Plans to build more than 100 homes in a controversial piece of land in Crowborough have been granted on appeal.Developers launched an appeal over Wealden District Council's decision to refuse planning permission for more than 103 homes at Steel Cross, on an area of outstanding natural beauty, last year.An inquiry in April heard issues included what effect the development, located between Crowborough Rugby Club and Palesgate Lane, will have on the character and appearance of the countryside....
