Calls are being made for the creation of a town council in Tonbridge to give residents a "bigger voice" on issues which affect their lives.The market town is served by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council (TMBC) but despite having a population of nearly 40,000 people, the area has no lower-level governing body to focus on its specific needs.
