Firefighters attended a garden fire in Staplehurst last night.The blaze took pace in Bathurst Road at around 10.45pm.A fire engine attended from Cranbrook.
Witness William Evendon said: "The fire started after the owner of the property had been burning garden rubbish in a garden incinerator. The owner thought it had gone out but an ember went up into the hedge and fence and court it alight."
