Researchers are warning that up to 50 per cent of foxes are infected with the deadly parasite lungworm, whose larvae can be found in the bodies and slime of slugs and snails.Once larvae is swallowed by a dog or fox the parasite travels through its body to end up in the heart causing sickness and possibly death.
